The State of New York has very specific guidelines regarding the requirements of such a process and under these regulations. The first requirement of the movement would be a petition, signed by a percentage of Johnson city’s residents, equaling 2,622 for its population.

Death effects all of us in different ways. The Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire is an exploration of how one family deals with death, and how their relationships with each other change.

I thought that the show was excellant, and very well done on all fronts, despite my usual dislike of depressing shows. However, I am more than willing to put aside my intitial reaction to the subject matter in the face of this production. Everything came together very well, from the actors to the set.

The Red Sox led off the following inning with 3 consecutive solo homeruns by Kevin Youklis, David Ortiz, and Manny Ramirez. But that wasn't close to enough as those 3 shots accounted for Boston's only 3 runs of the game.

In the process your organism eats other green plant blobs, or red meat blobs to gain food, which acts as the level up mechanism.

Book Review: Cat What is That by Tony Johnston

1:35 minutes (1.45 MB)

"Cat, What Is That?" by Tony Johnston is a wonderful collection of verse exploring what it means to be a cat. Instead of exploring what a cat is through physical traits (ears, size, fur color) Tony Johnston takes an abstract approach. Cats represent many different things to him because cats have such distinct personalities. He uses words like “slink,” “dance,” “roar,” and “pounce,” to describe how a cat moves and words like “fat,” “spy,” and “jowl” to describe how a cat looks. This book is especially unique because not only do his words describe how a cat moves, looks, or acts, but they are also descriptions of what a cat can represent. Some of the references in this book are too adult for young children to understand, such as the line “It is a sphinx.” More importantly, the sounds of the words invoke particular feelings of awe and curiosity, which are akin to the attitude of most young children. Of course, this book would not be the wonderful little piece of literature it is without the simple paintings of cats by Wendell Moor. His paintings help illustrate the Johnston’s words.
